Prins Thomas (all night long)
Serving up a heavenly goulash of sounds from the sauna, Prins Thomas steps up so we can all take a beat as he plays through an eternal warm-up set for a dance floor that remains dormant during the pandemic. It’s Prins Thomas all night long, selecting tracks from the temperate zones of the BPM range, playing outlier DJ sets with his truly eclectic approach. The Oslo DJ legend keeps it cozy in our backyard for a limited capacity with seating-room only, but for those unable to attend we’re streaming the Prins directly to your screen from select channels.
Clubbing in a pandemic
Covid-19 regulations are still in effect and we’re operating under shorter opening times, under a limited capacity with seating room only. Table service is in effect, and facemasks are obligatory whenever not seated at your table. We encourage you to arrive early to avoid the queue and ensure a prime spot.
Prins Thomas’ contribution to the Oslo music scene is unmatched, but his beginnings are humble. Back, way back in time, he started playing around as a DJ at a puerile age. Viewed as an extension of his break-dancing efforts, belt-driven turntables were enough to support his mix of hip hop, electro and an array of Arthur Baker’s and Shep Pettibone’s jewels. That passion for the music and the legacy of places like paradise garage has been channeled through every aspect of Prins Thomas’ being. Through his label Full Pupp and through his sets he is a musical connoisseur with unparalleled skills in the booth.
