A couple of weeks ago Jacob Sperber and Jason Kendig dropped by to share a little of that Honey Soundsystem philosophy with us and our guests in the courtyard. They brought that sound and the energy from the west coast, tracking a set through Disco and House in a four-hour happening that really brought out the Honey Soundsystem’s esoteric ability to dictate the course of a night. Their set, programmed in meaty beats, square bass figures and deep chords, infused our courtyard with the colour of Honey. It was an electric night, one were not soon to forget and we were very lucky to be able to record their set to let it live on in infamy.
