Representing the second wave of Techno’s legacy Octave One picked up the baton from the Belleville Three in the early nineties and have carved out an indelible career as artists and performers. Octave One’s third visit to Jaeger is an exciting proposition with their live show being lauded as one the best sounding and immersive experiences to come out of Techno. Their gear heavy show takes the sound system to its limits without sacrificing that indelible soul of another one of Techno’s trailblazers.

Octave One
The electrifying live performances of Octave One are one reason that the Detroit born and bred producers are in constant demand. On stage, Octave One transforms synthesisers and sequencers into vessels of funk, house and symphonic beats. The live show is evidence of what longtime fans already know.
Octave One is the brainchild of core members Lenny and Lawrence Burden. The Burden brothers burst onto the Detroit techno scene in 1990, producing their debut “I Believe,” featured on the compilation Techno 2: The Next Generation. Their 2002 hit single “Black Water” has sold over one million records worldwide.
The Burdens also founded 430 West/Direct Beat Records in 1990, a record label that paved the way for the rise of the indies throughout the ’90s. Their extensive 430 West catalogue ranges from Aux 88’s “My A.U.X. Mind” to Rolando’s “Jaguar,” which included an Octave One remix.
After touring and making music for decades the spirit and essential energy of the craft is what keeps them eternally inspired to keep creating and touring the globe… “Once it takes hold of you you can’t stop even if you wanted to.” say the brothers.

Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and beyond. They have played a fundamental role in the development of Norwegian music abroad with residencies at Panorama Bar, Fabric, Robert Johnson, Into the Valley and Moog, where they’ve given fellow Norwegian artists a platform to the outside world, proving to be a motivational force behind Oslo and Norway’s thriving electronic music scene, through Sunkissed and more recently through Jæger – the club founded by Olanskii and host to their internationally acclaimed Frædag residencies.
