A glorious din descends onto Oslo. It’s a sound in hibernation, awoken finally after a two year long absence. It’s a slumbering beast, ready to explode with the pent up energy of two years of unbridled creativity that has longed for an output in the city. Musikkfest returns to Oslo, and in a tradition that we’ve sincerely missed, the city wide music festival comes back to Jaeger, featuring a list of some our closest friends and DJs in the sauna. We extend the backyard and crack up the system for a day of music and culture like you’ll experience nowhere else quite like Oslo Musikkfest.
Playful, explorative, cathartic, ecstatic, integrative, sustainable – Crussen aims to create opportunities for us to allow ourselves to just be – to be fundamentally human. I want us to feel animated and motivated to move into all areas of life – even the dark ones – with lightness. Let’s embrace it all and celebrate life itself!
She likes dogs, Jacuzzis, riding a bike, bålkos, å få napp, her own oceans of emotions, hummus, Rhabarbersaftschorle, free WiFi, Mezcal, dark days and dark nights, talking fast, dancing slow, serious shit, funny shit, singing, getting dirty, staying away, getting close, going hard, being active, being passive, being together, being there, getting it all. A DJ, a producer, and a positive thinker, she spent the last years exploring music, people, life and places. Playful and silly, and therefore confident and sexy, whether as a DJ or playing live, her music is deep, dark, and psychedelic.
g-HA & Olanskii
Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and beyond. They have played a fundamental role in the development of Norwegian music abroad with residencies at Panorama Bar, Fabric, Robert Johnson, Into the Valley and Moog, where they’ve given fellow Norwegian artists a platform to the outside world, proving to be a motivational force behind Oslo and Norway’s thriving electronic music scene, through Sunkissed and more recently through Jæger – the club founded by Olanskii and host to their internationally acclaimed Frædag residencies.
A formidable crew of DJs, artists, producers and tastemakers, Mutual Intentions influences spread far and wide, with a focus on black American dance music and its direct descendants. A party clique, label, clothing brand and collective, Mutual Intentions have solidified their collective tastes around a distinctive yet eclectic sound.
