SPFDJ | Carl Fuck (uteklubb) | Finnebassen | more tbc

The world descends on Oslo again in 2020. After a year-long hiatus, where we’ve been shut out, Oslo World opens the gates for the exotic and the esoteric sounds from the world beyond Norway. Jaeger takes up the clarion call with a stage across three days, where we hold up a torch for the rebels of the world alongside Oslo World in 2020.

Celebrating the icons of resistance after a year and a half of turmoil, we’ve assembled a group of DJs who represent the rebellion spirit from the club’s DJ booth. BigUP Oslo, SPFDF, Carl Fuck, Levi oi and Mobilegirl join us over a long weekend in November to dessimate and unravel all known conventions.

Not many DJs can claim to experience as meteoric, grassroots ascent as SPFDJ. Having established a remarkable energy, style and attitude on the underground techno circuits of both London and Berlin, she is known for inspiring debauchery and sweat-soaked hedonism on an international scale. Typically operating at a blisteringly high-tempo, an SPFDJ trip takes no prisoners in it’s exploration of strains of techno, acid, EBM, hardcore and trance. It’s a style that Ben UFO called “utterly ruthless”, and one that more and more clubbers are submitting to; a gleefully chaotic two-fingers to dance music’s self-serious establishment.

Carl-Fuck (Uteklubb)

Carl Fuck is one of the founding members of Uteklubb. A club night, rave, collective and constituting several record labels, Uteklubb is leading the way in alternative club culture in Oslo. As a card carrying member of the collective Carl-Fuck sets are a provocative onslaught of high energy rhythms and heady melodies as an extension of the sound of the collective and label. Sets moving through the vast realm of EBM, Techno, Trance and Rock (if the mood strikes) through a couple of vinyl discs, sets Carl-Fuck apart  form contemporaries.

Leaving his teenage genre hopping days behind him, 2008 saw a house music epiphany, as a deep rooted interest in electronic music began, bringing Finnebassen to the sound he relays today. Although he has been producing music and playing gigs in his hometown of Oslo for a long time, 2012 saw his first releases, which gained huge support and landed him at the top of the beatport charts. You will regularly find Finnebassen touring the world; he has played to crowds from Europe to Asia, and Australia to USA.
