From Morocco to Oslo, Oslo World connects the dots with Helt Texas. Residents Normann & Ole HK are visited by DJ and festival runner Daox. The North African artist is a central node in the scene of the region and through his MOGA Festival in Essaouira, he has been both bringing the sound of the west to the region and exporting the local sound and culture to a western audience. With acts like Prins Thomas, Paula Tape and DJ Tennis scheduled for the next MOGA, Daox has finger firmly on the pulse of electronic music scene.

Daox
Born in the city of Casablanca, Daox set his sights on a career in music at an early age after getting hooked on classic old-school hip hop and electronic acts such as Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, Model 500, Ken Ishii amongst others. Since then, this talented young man has become one of the finest young DJs to emerge from the thriving North African underground scene.
Having built himself a glowing reputation for flowing DJ sets heavily influenced by the deep techno-based sounds from Chicago and Detroit, he has gone into production. Aside from music, he is the co-founder of the MOGA Festival in Essaouira, where he works as artistic director.
Normann
With a foundation built on the minimal traditions, Normann bounces between elements of Deep House and Tech House, focusing on cold atmospheric mood building through his sets. With a day job as a songwriter and producer from some of Norway’s most prominent pop and EDM acts, DJing is where Normann can really free his musical inhibitions and let the music guide the way to the dance floor.
Ole HK
A rising star on Oslo’s DJ circuit, Ole has been a regular favorite at Jaeger. Associations with the sous-vide records crew, Finnebassen and Normann sees Ole play regularly amongst the city’s elite clubs and concepts. At Jaeger he can often be found on Thursdays where he and Normann set the pre-weekend tone with Helt Texas. Ole has a penchant for the minimal sounds that lean toward Techno and the deeper side of House, but can be heard playing across the board.
