The world descends on Oslo again in 2020. After a year-long hiatus, where we’ve been shut out, Oslo World opens the gates for the exotic and the esoteric sounds from the world beyond Norway. Jaeger takes up the clarion call with a stage across three days, where we hold up a torch for the rebels of the world alongside Oslo World in 2020. Celebrating the icons of resistance after a year and a half of turmoil, we’ve assembled a group of DJs who represent the rebellion spirit from the club’s DJ booth. BigUP Oslo, SPFDF, Carl Fuck, Levi oi and Mobilegirl join us over a long weekend in November to dessimate and unravel all known conventions.
Man dem in the yard as Oslo World descends on the city. BigUP Oslo provides the rhythm and the bass in the warm embrace of our Function one subs to open up the Oslo World proceedings at Jaeger. The BigUP! crew stretch the limits of the subwoofers through an onslaught of Drum n Bass and Jungle. From the tempered tones of liquid to the raucous rhythms of Jungle, the BigUP! boys are the first and last name for everything Drum N Bass in Oslo. Representing the past, present and future of the high-energy rhythmical music for the last generation to the next.
Constituting a few generations of DJs and producers who cover the vast expanse of DnB and Jungle, BigUP represents every nuanced corner of the genre and community in Norway. Over the last few years they’ve been bringing sounds from liquid to hardcore to club spaces around Oslo, with regular appearances at Jaeger.
