The Norwegian artist and DJ presents 2 hours of intergalactic dancing from the sauna
Ora the Molecule is not only an acclaimed artist, she is also and adept DJ. Off the back of releasing her sophomore LP Dance Therapy, and when she’s not performing live, she’s been putting in more appearances in Oslo’s DJ booths.
Shortly after doing Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space earlier this year, she headed to Jaeger’s sauna to lay down 2 hours of intergalactic dance music. “Trying to convey a sense of timelessness,” Ora’s selections channel much of her own sound as an artist as she attempts to recreate that “feeling you get from old cinema.”
From Lindstrøm to Giorgio Moroder the mix parlays a ound very much steeped in the Disco tradition with Ora The Molecule’s definitive take on the genre underpinning the journey.
