FRIDAY
Frædag x MUNCH late night afterparty: DJ EZ + Toy Tonics

DJ EZ | Gee Lane + Fimiani (Toy Tonics) | g-HA & Olanskii | Øyvind Morken

After dark the Munch museum springs to life as DJs and live acts take over the galleries, before they make their way to Jaeger for the official after party. We pull out all the stops for this one with a bonafide UK legend and a German House institution making their way to the sauna and basement for this one. Toy tonics take over the sauna with Gee Lane and Fimiani while DJ EZ brings his frenetic style to the basement. g-HA & Olanskii represent Frædag with Øyvind Morken in tow.

DJ EZ (infamously pronounced ‘DJ EEE ZED’) is widely regarded as one of the finest and most technically gifted DJs on the planet. He’s been a musical force of nature for over two decades, saluted by both the industry and the public for being one of the most creative mixers around with an extraordinary instinct and technical prowess – not to mention owning the quickest fingers in the trade with his trademark cue button action displays during his sets!

Fimiani

Fimiani is a Toy Tonis staple combining the original NYC house sound from the 1990’s with the best of Italian Disco history. Channeling that Neapolitan history via New York, turning it all into a very contemporary flow of afro-american and Italian music based on funk, soul, melodies and rhythm. Just listen to his 2 EPs he did on Toy Tonics and you understand. All played live with musicians (no samples) – this sounds like the best organic house tracks you can get at the moment. His track “Disco Music” is a hit. Played by DJs like Palms Trax, Folamour, Louie Vega of Masters at Work, Horse Meat Disco, Seth Troxler, Mousse T. and many others.

g-HA & Olanskii

Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and  beyond.

Øyvind Morken

Oslo`s Øyvind Morken (pronounced Oy-vind) has a unique ability to play everything from A to Z of what genres concern. Working the dance floor in the most unexpected ways. For the last nine years he has held down a residency at Jaeger. Eight of them weekly under the Untzdag banner, a wordplay for Onsdag, Norwegian for Wednesday. It became an institution in Oslo. Drawing in a crowd of open-minded party freaks for nights of wild abandon, and where musical diversity and self-expression was encouraged.
