From one of the youngest DMC champions to producer to one of the oldest clubbing institutions in the world. this Frædag is about the entire legacy of the dance floor with Espen Haa and DJ dust presenting another Daviud Mancuso and Loft Tribute and g-HA & Olanskii inviting A-Trak. A-Trak’s career lives and breathes on a set of turntables, and that’s where you’ll find him when Frædag bring the iconic DJ to Jaeger’s basement to give our decks a proper workout. g-HA & Olanskii bring the turntablist to the basement after a live show from newcomers Soundfocker, who release their debut EP on the same night.

A-Trak
A-Trak, a.k.a. Alain Macklovitch, is the quintessential cultural connector. His 20-year career has seen him take turns as an internationally renowned turntablist, Grammy-nominated producer, innovative remixer, globetrotting DJ and more. As a founder of New York’s celebrated Fool’s Gold Records, half of the legendary house duo Duck Sauce and, more recently, The Brothers Macklovitch alongside his brother Dave 1 of Chromeo, A-Trak is one of the most prolific names in music today. In the spirit of his own break at the age of 15, he remains committed to spotlighting emerging talent across his various endeavours, most notably by hosting his annual DJ and Beat Battle, Goldie Awards since 2017. He continues to release music to critical acclaim with all of his projects and under his own name, including a string of house collaborations this year: “My Own Way” with Ferreck Dawn, “Funk U” with Weiss, “Know Each Other” with Friend Within and “Groove Society” with Wongo.
Soundfocker
Soundfocker is an electronic music trio that unifies improvisation with driving rhythms in a club aesthetic. Pushing the boundaries of convention, Soundfocker is always striving towards those impossible sounds. After their debut EP “50undf0ck3r” is their debut EP, they’ve started making tracks in Oslo’s live scene playing stages at Øya, Vill Vill Vest, Musikkfest and Høyden Festival. They are known for their energetic, experimental sound that transcends dance floors.
g-HA & Olanskii
Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and beyond.
Espen Haa
Espen Haa is DJ royalty in Oslo. Regent to the Prins he’s the brother of Thomas Moen-Hermansen and the two siblings share an incredible passion for all things music, from collecting records to making their own. A traditionalist that likes to honour the origins of DJ music, he’s a significant figure on the Oslo scene between hosting events, running labels and Djing
DJ Dust
DJ Dust aka Jan Tørresen is a verified DJ-veteran., who has been aroun din Oslo’s clubbing scene since the 1980’s. he was a resident at the infamous Head-On during its heyday and a DJ on NRK P3 (when they still had an ear to the ground) between 1997-2002. He keeps it bubbling with his mix of soul, funk snd disco and continues to play some of Oslo’s best clubs.
