Olanskii has been lured over to the dark-side. Travelling deeper into the murkier recesses of his extensive record collection, he’s been pulling Techno records for some of his recent sets at Jaeger’s Frædag. Travelling between Detroit and Berlin, Olanskii favours the stormy percussive realm of club music with a focus on darker hues and foreboding textures.
Recorded during April ahead of Len Faki, Olanskii delivered a set operating at fever-pitch tempos and explosive assaults, touching the ruddy echelons of the mixing board. Building the energy into a frenzy of the guest of honour Olanskii filled the basement dance floor to capacity on the night, and we were lucky enough to record the entire mix, which we present here again.
Olanskii is back at this Frædag this week as well as another appearance this Sunday for another BCR and Foot Food.
